Nadine sings with The Bewlays

Our Name

The Bewlays  (Formally Setanta Cried) is taken from a song written by David Bowie (The Bewlays). Having been influenced greatly by the songs of  David Bowie, we decided to  pay tribute to him by naming the band after one of his songs.

About Us      

We are mainly a three piece band (Liam Dowling) Guitar , (Paddy Keogh) Guitar, (Nadine Keogh) Vocals, from Greystones Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Nadine is Paddy's daughter and Liam's Godchild. Paddy's son Ciaran Keogh also plays Acoustic Guitar with us

We are part time musicians and are influenced by all good bands from the 60's to the 80's and would cover Pogues, Stones, Rory Gallagher, David Bowie. Since Nadine joined the band fulltime, we have added bands like Coral, The Cranberries,  Four Non Blonds to our repetoir.
The Bewlays  also have written  and recorded their own songs (Our Songs) and have produced a demo CD
